March 12th - 17th, 2015 Brady had a goal and two assists in a pivotal game four win for the South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx. He set up the winner in the third, when the Lynx broke a 2-2 tie with three unanswered goals. Brady joined the team in January after playing the first half of the season in Junior B and has picked up 24 points in just 15 games.
Connor had two outstanding defensive games for the Down East Auto Parts Sabres. He had two key assists in a big 4-1 win in Crapaud Saturday night as the Sabres faced elimination. Connor is in his last year of Junior. March 4th - 11th, 2015 The regular season scoring champion was key this weekend, racking up 10 points in four games for the South Side MacDonald's Excavation / EF MacPhee Lynx. After having one of of the most dominant rookie seasons in recent memory, Cody is quickly becoming a leader on the Lynx who are looking to get over the hump and finally clinch their first league championship.
The seasoned veteran was key in three big wins this week including the series winner against Sherwood and a clutch 44-save shutout in game three to take the series lead over Belfast Down East Auto Parts Sabres on Sunday afternoon. The two-time all-star is still unbeaten this post-season. February 25th - March 3rd, 2015 Matthew had a clutch offensive performance in the Belfast Down East Auto Parts Sabres 3-game sweep of the three-time defending champion Tignish Perry's Construction Aces. He scored the series-clinching goal on Tuesday night in Belfast in a tight 2-1 game. Matthew is one of the original Sabres players from the year they returned to the league in 2012 and has played in 98 games in his Junior C career.
Ben played every minute of the Sabres' three-game sweep on the weekend. They high-powered offence of the Aces was only able to get seven goals by him in three games and he was arguably the difference in the series. February 18th - 24th, 2015 Ryley had a major role in the TIgnish Perry's Construction Aces' series win against Souris. Ryley is on top of the playoff scoring race with 11 points and played a significant first line role defensively as well this week.
Bradley Vukicevic missed game one of the series against the North River Island Excavators Flames, but made up for it in games two and three. He played two very strong games defensively, killing power plays and even helping offensively. He was a key factor for the Falcons closing out the series sweep. His great speed on the ice helped produce timely offense for the Falcons. |
